London Heathrow to Oslo Flights
Heathrow Airport began life in 1946 as an army surplus airfield with just one runway. With London in desperate need of a large and modern airport, the ‘Great Western Aerodrome’ became the obvious choice for expansion and by 1955, a second terminal was opened to help cope with the heavy traffic that passed through.
2008 has witnessed the opening of Heathrow’s fifth Terminal which is testament to the confidence placed in the world’s busiest airport. With some two hundred destinations to choose from, travellers are well placed to find regular flights to all major cities around the world?including Oslo.
Travellers wanting to reach Oslo directly from the UK are well served at Heathrow Airport. Scandinavian Airlines charter 3 flights a day from Heathrow Airport to Oslo, as well as a further 5 in partnership with bmi and 4 flights a day with British Airways.
Oslo Airport
Oslo is Norway’s major airport and serviced some 19 million people in 2007 with figures rising to almost 20 million in 2008. Amongst its many attributes, Oslo has a strong reputation for customer service and has been named Europe’s most punctual airport three times by the Association of European Airlines.

For shorter or longer term parking, there are also a number of outdoor parking spaces ‘P1-P6′ and the airport has invested in electronic signs to lead drivers towards vacant spaces.
